At the forefront of energy innovation, our team comprises over 1300 dedicated experts driven by curiosity and a commitment to sustainability. Based in Burnaby, Canada, our three facilities span over 240,000 ft² (22,000 m²), uniquely equipped to produce over 1GW of MEAs and fuel cell stacks.
Utilizing automated and continuous manufacturing, we consistently deliver top-quality products to meet our customers’ needs. Additionally, we have manufacturing facilities in the US and Denmark, along with joint-venture operations in China focusing on stacks and modules

Pioneering Fuel Cell Technology
Over its 43‐year history, Ballard has invested more than $1.5 billion in research and development to advance fuel cell technology and has produced over 1 GW of proton exchange membrane fuel cell products.
